GMR Associates' corporate philosophy and basis for the conduct of its employees and representatives is defined, in part, by its Mission Statement and a set of Core Values. Among those values is the pledge to "Freely share our gifts and blessings."
GMR recognizes the gift of time as a valuable asset, no less so than financial resources. As such, it is among GMR's goals to promote and support the giving of one's time (and talent) to charitable endeavors that serve to benefit others, generally those less fortunate or the victims of hardship.
Such outreach efforts are usually accomplished on a local level within Rochester and the surrounding community, but could extend to providing aid to those in need around the country when tragedy strikes. Causes supported by volunteer activities include child and youth-related programs, helping to feed the poor, caring for the elderly, supporting cancer or other disease research and awareness, assisting with animal welfare, helping with the cleaning or maintenance of facilities providing programs supported, and others.
